F.A.Q

Yes! All prefixes are assigned your RIPE organization and then you are added as a maintainer of the prefix so you can allocate under the prefix, change the country and even change the netname or description.

All our prefixes come with valid ROA (RPKI) which we set the the prefix size and the ASN you provided when ordered however we understand that some people want to have there own control of this which is no problem, it is a very simple process:

Open a support ticket with the Child Request from your Krill instance, we will then provide the parent request for you to have full control over your RPKI.

For rDNS we use ClouDNS however we understand again that some people will want control over the rDNS so again this is a simple process:

Open a support ticket with the name servers you wish to use for your prefix and we will reply once we have done this.

Yes! all prefixes come with option, while we do not allow you access to our Krill or rDNS we can however add, remove or change any records you want us to, typically these requests are fulfilled within a few hours or less however we only work these requests during our working hours.

For delegation of RPKI we would need the child request from your own Krill server, Krill is very lightweight and can run on anything really, we do not have a full guide to installing and using Krill but the official install instructions can be found here https://krill.docs.nlnetlabs.nl/en/stable/install-and-run.html

We would recommend running Krill separate to your other infrastructure and with HA if possible, many big names offer guaranteed uptime with there VPS plans and as Krill can run on very little we would suggest doing some research and finding a host that suits your needs.
