What is a VDS?

A Virtual Dedicated Server (VDS) provides dedicated CPU cores and RAM, unlike traditional VPS which shares resources. You get guaranteed performance with no resource contention from other users.

Why 2 IPv4 addresses?

Dual IPv4 addresses make it easy to set up Proxmox virtualization or NAT router configurations. One IP for the host and one for your services, or configure NAT for multiple internal VMs.

Can I run Proxmox on this?

Yes! The VDS is perfect for Proxmox. With dedicated resources, 2 IPs, and KVM nested virtualization support, you can run multiple VMs inside your VDS.

Can I have BGP?

Yes. You can select the BGP add-on during checkout. Once your order is paid, we'll email setup instructions and peering details (IPv4/IPv6).

Do you offer downstreaming?

Yes. We support downstream announcements with a one-time setup fee to cover initial configuration. You can add this on the order form, and we'll send instructions by email after payment.

Do I get full root access?

Yes. Every VDS comes with full root (administrator) access so you can install and configure anything you need, including custom kernels and hypervisors.

What's the difference between VDS and VPS?

VDS provides dedicated CPU cores and RAM that are never shared with other users, while VPS shares resources. VDS also includes higher bandwidth (2.5Gbps), dual IPs, and is optimized for running nested virtualization like Proxmox.

Is my data safe?

We use RAID 1 on our hypervisors and take separate offsite backups every 12 hours. However, no provider can guarantee data protection—please maintain your own backups for important data.

Can I install Windows?

Yes! Unlike our standard VPS plans, VDS supports Windows installation. After your server is provisioned, you can install Windows directly from the control panel.

Do you support rDNS?

Yes. You can set rDNS (PTR records) for both IPv4 and IPv6 directly in our panel. Changes typically propagate within minutes.
